Who we are

We’re a small, family run company based in San Diego, California.

The idea for LaceLight was born when a family member was leaving our home and fell on a small step on our porch. Because of his age and underlying health conditions, he had to be rushed to the hospital. It was a terrible way to end the night but it got us thinking… Was there something that could have helped prevent this fall?

The obvious solution was just him using a flashlight, he would have seen the curb. However, he was in a rush and didn’t think he needed one. We ended up adding some night lights around the curb, but that only solved the problem for a single tripping hazard. Was there something that would go WITH him everywhere he walked?

And just like that the idea was born. Our founder (a mechanical engineer) got to work and began developing the invention. After years of refining and testing the product, LaceLight was ready to meet the market in 2026.

Fast forward to today.. every LaceLight is hand assembled and tested right here in San Diego, California. We are proud to produce our own product and we stand behind it. If you have any questions, concerns, or issues we are more than happy to help, just reach out!
